After all the hard work the Butterz label have been putting in lately, including releases and club nights, as well as being announced as the DJ's featured for the Rinse:17 cd, they've still found time to release the Autumn Zip, a folder filled full of grime vocals and instrumentals. The folder contains around 27 tracks, featuring the likes of Royal-T, Terror Danjah, TRC, Trim (including the I Am acapella) and loads more.
You can catch the Butterz duo Elijah and Skilliam playing up and down the country in the next few months, including the Butterz Takeover raves as well, following on from the last dance they held at Cable Nightclub.
Terror Danjah's track 'Full Attention' featuring Ruby Lee Ryder has probably been one of the most played grime tracks this year so far, well it now gets its official release and is out now, on Hardrive Records, digitally and on vinyl.
The tracklists differ on both the vinyl and digital releases, with the vinyl version seeing Terror Danjah's 'Jekyll & Hyde' instrumental included and the digital version with Roska's remix on it. I'm happy to say though both versions include the massive hit instrumental 'East Village', which many people are just as happy to be able to purchase as what they are 'Full Attention'.
Both releases also include the acapella so it will be interesting to hear any remixes that will emerge in the near future along with Royal-T's and Spooky's which have already surfaced.
Last Saturday Butterz & Hardrive tore apart Cable nightclub at London Bridge, with performances from DJ's Elijah & Skilliam, Royal-T, Champion, Terror Danjah, Swindle, D.O.K, Scratcha DVA and Kode 9 in room one and funky house in room two.
Grime legend D Double E also performed on the night with Terror Danjah, who was celebrating his birthday, which included live P.A's of 'Back To The Bone', 'Bluku Bluku' and 'Streetfighter Riddim' and also a live set with old skool grime mc Bruza. Other mc's in attendance were Family Tree members Merky Ace and Ego, who both blessed the mic at various times throughout the night, and a quick appearance from Blacks on Elijah's and Skilliam's set.
Highlights of the night for me was funky house DJ/Producer Champion's set who showed us the darker side to the genre and then lit up the place near the end with some old skool grime classics and D Double E's performance with Terror Danjah, although I have to say every DJ and mc had the crowd hype and not one set was a disappointment.

With everything that the grime label Butterz are set to release in the upcoming months and the event with Hardrive records at Cable Nightclub on Sat 13th August, these guys have still somehow managed the time to upload the Butterz Summer Zip, filled full of tracks from the likes of Royal-T, Trim, S-X and many more.
Upcoming releases "I am" by Trim and Royal-T's Remix of Terror Danjah's track "Full Attention" ft. Ruby Lee are both set to drop mid august so make sure you watch out for both of them.
