Logan Sama Kiss FM Family Tree 12 Sept 11 [Video]

On last week's Logan Sama Kiss FM show we saw the whole Family Tree collective pass through, consisting of Merky Ace,MIK,Ego,Shifman and TKO, to which each mc blessed the mic for nearly 30 minutes of grime at it's finest. As a crew and as solo mc's, each member is certainly making a name for themselves as we see here as they all showcase the best of their abilities.

When two of the biggest grime mc's in the scene right now came together to record a track over possibly one of the most epic grime instrumentals the scene has seen this year, it was a no brainer that the outcome would be something special. After getting played religiously on radio, including holding a weekly spot on Logan Sama's Kiss FM show on Mondays, the track is now available to purchase on iTunes.

Instead of hearing the standard collab were all used to, Merky Ace and P Money have brought a much cleverer concept to this track, going back to back throughout the whole song, creating almost a seesaw of lyrics between the two.

The massive instrumental from producer Rude Kid, which is taken from his 'Always Ready' EP, has been at the heart of every grime radio set and rave this year and has certainly earned itself the title of the 'Grime Anthem' of 2011.

Rival - Music Is My Life (Prod. By Rude Kid) [Free Download]

The 'Hardest Working' mc in grime is back with another track this week entitled 'Music Is My Life' and this time it's up for free download. The track, produced by Rude Kid, is a much deeper track than what we're used to hearing from the 'Gun Reload' mc and certainly shows how versatile Rival can be. This is now the second time we've heard Rival, team up with Rude Kid to express his views on the music scene, after the recent track entitled 'Why' which also features Roachee & Stutta.

Frisco-Tear Drops EP [Free Download]



Frisco drops the brand new EP 'Tear Drops' for free download. This release see's ten of the biggest tracks with features from J2K, Lay-Z, Lioness, Skepta, Tinchy Stryder, Example, Ghetts and more and productions by Rude Kid, Davinche, Skepta, Flava D and even the Boy Better Know member Frisco himself.

Highlights of this EP for me are Hustle, Fast Lane ft. J2K, Love Me ft. Lay-Z and Lioness and Frisco's P's & Q's EP, but every track is certainly worth checking out.

Roachee,Stutta & Rival-WHY [Video]

The start of the week sees a brand new video from Roachee,Stutta & Rival entitled 'Why' taken from Roachee's forthcoming project. Each mc gives their view on the music scene and its current state over Rude Kid's deep production.

This is certainly a certified hit and its good to hear a track expressing the opinions of mc's over the music scene these days, which is something we haven't seen much from before. The video filmed and edited by Danny Streetz is also very fitting which let's the track do most the work, while also helping to catch the anger expressed.

DeathStar & Danny D- Cotton Buds Freestyle [Audio]

Mc's Deathstar & Danny D from Alien Muzik crew both go in over fellow member Rude Kid's 'Cotton Buds' instrumental. Fully rating these two right now and I hear that Deathstar has a project coming out soon as well.

J2K- WTF (Electrik) OUT NOW [Release]

Roll Deep member J2K releases his debut single ft. Kenzie May entitled WTF(Electrik) which is available to purchase now digitally through Amazon and iTunes.

After recently featuring on the hit anthem 'Take It Back' produced by Toddla T ft. Shola Ama , the East London mc is back again with his own summer hit this time. The track has already had a lot of love shown on radio stations 1Xtra and Kiss FM and was also used as the theme for the Adidas 'All In' campaign.

The EP contains four tracks, one of which is the original mix and the rest are remixes by producers Rymez, Rude Kid and Preditah with all of the remixes holding their own just as well as the original.
