Manga - Obzokey Wranglings Out Now [Free Download]

Manga finally drops the long awaited mixtape 'Obzokey Wranglings' featuring a blend of 14 grime and rap tracks, with appearances from Luton based Young Kye and Nafe Smallz, JME, Opium, Rival and a solid selection of instrumentals from S-X, Wiley, G Tank and more.

If your wondering what 'Obzokey Wranglings' means, the Roll Deep member recently answered the question in an interview.
"Obzokey is a word I made up that means,just doing a normal thing in a next way. With the project I recorded it all by myself. Pressing record and then running in the booth,trying to do it in one take. Wranglings is just a word for doing your normal day to day stuff. so…yeah ‘Obzokey Wranglings."

Although this release is not purely grime, Manga proves that he can spit just as well over slower tempo's as he can 140bpm. Although if raps not your thing, the quality of the grime tracks on this release more than make up for that. Make sure you look out for '48 Hours' featuring Opium, Rival and Young Kye.

Manga Feat. Scratchy & J2K - No Mc (Out Now) [Release]

Finally the wait is over and the massive track 'No Mc' from Manga featuring fellow Roll Deep Members Scratchy & J2K, produced by Preditah is out now via Launchpad Records.

The single release contains three track, including the original, a remix featuring an all-star cast of mc's with the likes of Brazen, Discarda, Riko, Breeze and Flowdan and even a remix of the original, produced by Scratchy.

Trim - I Am (Prod. By TRC) Out Now [Release]

The massive track 'I Am' by Trim, produced by TRC, finally sees its official release on the Butterz label. One of the biggest tracks the grime scene has seen this year is now available to purchase both digitally and on vinyl.

This has to be one of the East London mc's finest tracks to date and really showcases Trim's cutting-edge lyrics, filled to the brim with metaphors, over the original 'Summer Vibe' jazz infused production by TRC. The digital release includes two more remixes of the hit, a harder variation from, producer of the moment, Preditah and a more off-beat style instrumental from producer Mr.Mitch, on top of all that there is also a remix from L.V that is included on the vinyl release.

The release also includes the monster track 'Notice Now' produced by legendary grime hit-maker D.O.K, who also released his ep earlier this year entitled 'West Coast' ep on Hyperdub Records. One of the tracks from the ep, entitled 'East Coast', was also vocalled by Trim this year for the track 'Dead In This Ting' which featured on mc's 'Chelsea Smile' mixtape.

After already seeing a bag of releases from the Butterz label, ran by Elijah & Skilliam, so far this year, we are really starting to see what started out as a blog, turn into a grime platform for artists and producers alike to not only get their material heard on radio and in the raves, but also be available to purchase either digitally or on vinyl.

Manga Ft. Scratchy & J2K-No Mc (Prod.by Preditah) [Video]

Lately we've seen quite a bit from the Roll Deep mc in the build up to his forthcoming mixtape 'Obzokey Wranglings', including a video for the track '48 Hours' and various freestyle video's. Well after all that Manga has now released the brand new video for his track taken off the forthcoming release, entitled 'No Mc' featuring fellow Roll Deep members Scratchy and J2K.

The track, which is produced by Preditah, showcases the crew's abilities and show's that they still can spit over grime just as well as what they could before their mainstream success.

The video, filmed by SB.TV director Morgan Keyz, see's exclusive footage from Roll Deep's performance at the Rinse FM stage at Lovebox Festival earlier this summer.

Marger-Shadows EP Out Now [Release]

Marger's highly anticipated 'Shadows' EP Ft. Molly finally see's its official release and is now available to buy digitally from iTunes. The Kushwave mc, who has recently signed to 360 records, brings us this massive hit featuring singer Molly and produced by Sibling. As well as the original, the EP is filled full of remixes from all different types of genres, including a grime remix from Preditah, Dubstep remix from Lewi White and and club mix from Rockerz.

Marger is also working on another new EP entitled the 'Cheeky EP' which is set to drop soon, so make sure you look out for that too.

Boy Better Know Tropical 2 Out Now [Release]

Five years after we saw the release of the legendary 'Tropical' mixtape from Boy Better Know, JME releases 'Tropical 2'.

This time we treated to a new wave of producers which includes Preditah and Royal-T and also productions from JME, DJ Q and the man behind the concept of the mixtape in the first place Todd Edwards, with every track being mixed by DJ Logan Sama.

Although this time round the release has a little less of a tropical feel and without productions from Skepta or Plastician that the first one saw, this is still a very solid release that will have you skanking throughout the rest of summer and even through the winter months.

J2K- WTF (Electrik) OUT NOW [Release]

Roll Deep member J2K releases his debut single ft. Kenzie May entitled WTF(Electrik) which is available to purchase now digitally through Amazon and iTunes.

After recently featuring on the hit anthem 'Take It Back' produced by Toddla T ft. Shola Ama , the East London mc is back again with his own summer hit this time. The track has already had a lot of love shown on radio stations 1Xtra and Kiss FM and was also used as the theme for the Adidas 'All In' campaign.

The EP contains four tracks, one of which is the original mix and the rest are remixes by producers Rymez, Rude Kid and Preditah with all of the remixes holding their own just as well as the original.

Marger ft. Molly - Shadows [Lewi White Remix]

Marger's new single 'Shadows' featuring vocals by Molly, gets a remix from legend producer Lewi White on this dubstep infused track. The grime mc has recently signed a deal with 360 Records with the first release from the label being the Shadows EP, which features the original mix, produced by Sibling, and also a remix from Rockerz, Preditah and the Lewi White remix which you can listen to below. The EP's out August 21st but you can pre-order it now.
